“A Million In 6 Months Is Not Difficult For Me”

How do those words make you feel?

Excited?

Intimidated?

Nervous?

Angry?

Expectant?

What if the number were different?

Ten Thousand in six months is not difficult.

2000 in six months is not difficult.

500 in 6 months is not difficult.

200?

20?

Does the number really make a difference? How does God see these metrics? Is a million a great deal more to Him than 50? Would you say God strains at the idea of big, but feels comfortable with tiny?

The number is so arbitrary in the light of God’s infinite greatness.

Speaking with the Holy Ghost on January 4th I threw this statement into the mix…

“Lord, I want to break open my thinking. I think so small.”

I know that the measure of what’s much or what’s not is purely my own arbitrary estimation. To some the idea of $20,000 a year is rich (been there, got the T-shirt). To others, the idea of a $90,000 month is disappointing (still waiting for the T-shirt on this one).

Money is a means, not a measure. It is a means to operate and exercise your freedom on earth to help others and live well.

If we are honest and open about it, most of us want more. Regardless of where we sit on the imaginary scale of prosperity we know there’s more and wonder why we don’t have it.

It begins in our thinking. I’m convinced that our mind and the attitude we have toward material things is the primary gauge through which money can flow into our hand.

I’m not talking about new age affirmations or hokey manifestation mantras or any other such thing. All of that is good and well, and experience proves that exercising our God-given ability to imagine and speak things into existence works, but to extract Jesus from the equation is just plain foolish.

He is not “the Universe”, the “Infinite Intelligence”, the “Eternal Mind” or any other spooky, man-made, Jesus denying title.

He is Jesus Christ, Lord and Creator of the the Universe!!!! To speak with the universe is like sitting down for dinner with a wall instead of sharing conversation with the Builder of the wall. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

He is the Measure. He is the Worth that we seek. The pearl of greatest price, the One and Only, the King and Lord of all. Nothing was made that was not made by Him, and all that exists in this natural realm is upheld by His Words!

He is the centre. The Source. The Way, the Truth, the Life.

In fellowship with Him we find our way, and walk into destiny.

One size does not fit all!

God is personal.

Because He is a Person.

He is not a ‘power’ or an ‘energy’ or a ‘vibration’.

He is more real than the nose on your face.

Thinking WITH Him is the key that unlocks the Kingdom.

ACTING on what He says is the avenue to abundance.

Here’s what He answered, word for word, in response to my question:

“The key to thinking bigger is thinking with me. Here we are right now thinking together. Keep doing this son and you’ll learn to expand beyond reason and enter the realm of divine possibility. I AM the mind of Christ within you. I’m the Holy Spirit speaking. Your part is simple, yield, and listen. As I speak your vision will expand. A million in next six months is not difficult for me.”

I wasn’t even talking about money. I think the Holy Ghost just wanted to offer a tangible thought, a measurable statement, that highlighted how differently He thinks than I do.

And He is right.

Where are the walls your thoughts are having dinner with.

In every realm God has life-changing thoughts He wants to share with you. Answers that you would never conceive outside of fellowship with Him.

Jesus is at the door knocking, ready to share His words and perspective, and He has even brought the meal.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV)

Your part is simple, yield, listen, and then act on what He says.
