You are hidden in Christ.
“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3 KJV)
That makes you hard to hit.
Aiming at an invisible dead person is difficult.
The world will throw its accusations. It will tease you out to taste its delicacies. Coax you to believe a lie about yourself and chase shadows. Because it’s only when you step outside your anointing that you become vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks.
But if you stay hidden…
You’re untouchable.
Your job then is not so much to fight, but to stay firmly tucked away. God’s Word is your barricade, His name is your strong tower.
And it’s here, from the inside, that you spy the world.
“Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.” (Psalm 139:7–11 KJV)
Through this lens, the world takes on a different shine.
Your vantage point is high up on the ramparts of redemption.
Climb the tower and take your seat, dear saint.
Jesus is the Victor!
Selah.
