I live near a valley.
It’s a lovely place to walk but has a dreadful name.
It’s called Devil’s Dyke.

Legend says the devil was furious at the conversion of the people in this part of the country to Christianity and decided to dig a valley through the South Downs, so the sea could flow in and drown their villages. That’s how Devil's Dyke got its unusual name.
That stinker also digs valleys elsewhere.
I’ve been lost in it a few times.
The gash he carves to drown the dreams of Christian creatives is a deep incision that separates what is from what could be.
A valley called indecision.
Doubt and fear prevent God’s people from stepping out and having a go.
Unfortunately, in the creative life, no guarantees are offered. It may work, it may not, and sadly for many, that’s a deal breaker.
I think it’s time to shame the devil.
Don’t let him drown your dreams in doubt.
You’ve already stepped up and said, “I’m creative!”
Now it’s time to step out.
Make a decision and do something. It doesn’t have to be grand or impressive, just a move in the direction of your dreams.
Every bold attempt will open up fresh prospects.
Possibilities will be created when you act on your ideas.
What moves are you going to make today toward transforming your ideas into a reality?
