How utterly humbling to know that behind the words on the page is a Person.
May my theology of a Father be outshone by a revelation of Abba!
May my eager desire to serve be obliterated in the blinding light of Sonship!
May my efforts to be good be blasted by the bloodsoaked truth of righteousness imputed!
When Papa arrives on the scene, no religious box is big enough to comprehend Him. No doctrine is sufficient to hold Him.
Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! That I might worship you as you truly are and not according to my own conception. Blast the cobwebs from my thinking and drag me boots and all into a fresh encounter!
