This week the Lord spoke some powerful words to my heart and I want to share them with you today.
I was given the privilege of preaching in my home church this past Sunday on submission – submission to God and one another.
The word evokes differing reactions but I’m sure that the way the Holy Ghost framed it for me will speak to you
Each of us faces challenges and times of pressure where the squeeze is on and it’s sometimes difficult to see the Lord’s hand at work in our circumstances.
I’ve been there. Many times.
And yet, the fruit of those times pushing against resistance has led to a much greater appreciation of God’s work and reality in my life than almost anything else.
So when He told me (allow pics to be shown if they are not already) it immediately made sense to me…
No doubt some of you are facing such things even as you read this page.
Allow me to encourage you. The Lord has entrusted you with sacred purpose, and he hones those whom He honours.
Yielding to Him, trusting Him for the outcome, and allowing patience to work strongly with your faith will carry you over!
I stumbled across this image online but I’m not sure where or when, please forgive the lack of attribution
Consider these words from the apostle Paul:
“For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!]” (2 Corinthians 4:17 AMP)
Through it all, God is:
🔥 Preparing you for purposeful service in His Kingdom
🔥 Producing fruits of eternal significance
🔥 Achieving something FOR you so He can do more THROUGH you.
You may feel restricted today, but today’s challenges are the avenue to your expansion.
God bless and keep on keeping on, one step of faith in front of another.
