Some see a devil (or ten) behind every bush.
The lens through which they look at life is one of unrelenting combat with a tireless enemy.
But I’ve come to recognise that the devil’s job is often far easier than we suppose.
The devil is not your greatest enemy.
Distraction is.
This is the perfect example that everyone is talking about it > Click here
Let’s face it, if satan can’t get you to sin, he’ll simply supply the means to fritter your days away with countless distractions.
Frittered not fruitful.
Playing not praying.
Dopamine on demand is the taskmaster in your pocket.
Scrolling has become the new smoking.
Even in King David’s day, he realised the brevity of life:
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12 KJV)
Wisdom is not found in the busyness, it’s discovered when we are fiercely guarded with our time.
Dedicate your days to fruitful pursuits.
Spend your minutes making.
Ever be creating, not consuming.
