There are some principles that are like skeleton keys.
They open doors in almost every realm.
One of the greatest I’ve discovered is the principle of “play”.
How did you learn as a child?
Play.
Getting messy exploring new ideas.
Trying things out without having all the pieces in place before you began.
So why do people stop playing?
In prayer?
In business?
In skill acquisition and purposeful self-growth?
Could it be that we take ourselves too seriously, perhaps?
Or that we overestimate the consequences of trying and failing?
I’m just putting this one on the table for your consideration.
If you approached your problems as a fun challenge, believing that play might unleash some unexpected solutions, might it change your perspective?
How can you bring the play back into your process?
Funnel some fun into your next step forward?
Squeeze some Joy into your journey?
Just a thought.
