If you’ve not already been introduced, there’s a new hotspot for conversations taking place – a virtual hub of lively debate called Clubhouse.

It’s an app by the way. Niche specific rooms with real time audio conversations.

Hordes of hungry covid-incarcerated thought leaders, and think-followers, are crowding in to engage together in live, as-it-happens, conversations around just about any topic you can imagine. Some rooms are bursting with hundreds of participants, all eagerly “raising their hands” to take the stage. Others are more intimate discussions among friends and avid fans.

It’s presently in beta, and works by one user inviting another two, making it somewhat compelling when you sit on the outside waiting for an opening.

The next thing in social?

Innovative viral marketing and the buzz that this is the “next thing in social” is stirring up quite a storm of enthusiasm and curiosity. Whether the optimistic prophecies are true or not will be played out in time.

For now, Facebook feeds and other places of engagement are filling with requests for an invite.

But let me divert for a moment and recommend another conversation.

So here we are again, a new day, a new opportunity to share your value and the grace that God has placed on you with the world I met today. I want to talk about a conversation. It’s really it’s been prompted by a new app that seems to be the kind of the buzz thing right now called clubhouse. Clubhouse is basically an audio app with real time conversations taking place. People open up kind of niche specific rooms, and then people can come in and kind of partake of the conversations that are going on.

And there’s a virtual stage where you can be invited up to speak and to engage in whatever conversation is taking place. The apps in beta at the moment. So basically it’s working by invitation. If you are already on the platform, you get the opportunity to invite someone else or a couple of other people to come in and join, which is, you know, that level of exclusivity and scarcity and curiosity, I think, is driving people to kind of value the app in a way that may be similar to similar ideas or similar apps have not kind of caused the same kind of ripples.

And there’s some big names on there. But this isn’t really a comment on the value of clubhouse interactions. It’s not a commentary on whether you should join it or not or what’s taking place there. It’s more just some of the thoughts that it stirred in me as I was kind of considering it and looking at it and partaking of a few different rooms in there, you know, and this idea of being invited into real time conversation. Now, there’s a there’s a clubhouse that I want to invite you to today.

Yeah. It’s cohosted by three kind of game changing hosts. Real like real top of the line, untouchable. What would you call them? Influencers. I don’t know what they’re there actually isn’t adequate adjectives to describe how incredible it is to have the opportunity to actually not just listen to these people speak or or kind of partake of what they want to share, but actually to engage in conversation with them. You don’t need an app, OK? You’ve already got an invite.

The invites gone out to anyone who wants to join. And I’m actually although I’m a little tongue in cheek here and I’m kind of piggybacking off a kind of little kind of wave in the ocean of social social chatter. I’m absolutely serious. There is a clubhouse that you have been invited to join. Let me just open up the invite here so you can see it. Yeah, there we go, that which we have seen and heard, we declare on to you that you also may have fellowship with us, enter into conversation and truly our fellowship is with the father and with his son, Jesus Christ.

One John one verse three. This is the conversation that this is the conversation that you’ve been invited into. This is the conversation that you have been given access to. This is a conversation that you have been given just absolute freedom to come in and just engage with the father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. And it started way back in the beginning, OK? Started right back at the at the outset of things, the inception of things when the three cohosts said to one another, let us make man in our own image.

Let us make man in our own image. The fact that the scriptures talk in the plural tells us that there was a conversation already taking place. There was a conversation, there was a fellowship that was taking place, and that was happening right there. And then and we have been invited as humanity has been invited in to this conversation. The there’s so many ways in which God has made his intention clear to us in so many ways in which we have we can know that we are not shut out.

We’re not on the periphery. We’re not on the outside trying to get in. We’ve been we’ve been brought in to the very centre of what’s taking place. You know, it says here again in the scriptures case, if we’re looking for an invitation, if we’re looking for an avenue to engage with the influencers, if we’re looking for an avenue to, like, really converse at a high level, this is where it really takes place. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews Fauver six. And then again, it says elsewhere in everything by prayer and supplication. With Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And again in that day you shall ask me nothing. This was Jesus speaking, verily. Verily, I say to you whatsoever, you shall ask the father in my name. He will give it to you. Hitherto you’ve asked nothing in my name. Ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full.

There is this conversation taking place in heaven, and you have been invited into it. This is like Heaven’s clubhouse, you know. Again, it’s something that these, these, these airwaves and avenues to intimacy are absolutely open to each one of us 24/7, every day, every every moment of every day, praying at all times in the spirit with all prayer and supplication. Ephesians six, verse eighteen. Pray without ceasing one. Thessalonians five, verse seventeen.

You know, there is no barrier to entry here. There is no one. You do not have to wait for someone else to invite you into the conversation. You do not have to wait for someone else to put you forward. You don’t have to raise your hand and say, you know, when is it my turn? When can I speak? Because this is like multi stream. Okay, this clubhouse in heaven is multi stream.

They can take care of whatever bandwidth comes their way. You know, if as much as I might be engaged in conversation with the with a Father, Son and Holy Ghost, you know, you can be engaged in conversation with them full on at the same time. And there will be no stuttering. There will be no none of those moments where everything stops. OK, it’s just going to keep moving and I’m going to that that conversation is going to keep flowing all the time.

And the great thing is, you know, when I’ve gone into you go into different places, don’t you, and engage with different people. And we all have our language. We all have a like way of speaking as Christians have a way of speaking. People in business have their way of speaking, you know, and depending what industry you’re in or what kind of club or group you’re in, there’s that lingo that comes along with it. You know, what I found is when when I converse with the Holy Ghost, when I converse with Father, Son and Holy Ghost, they speak your language.

They speak your language. You know, this is really is the cutting edge of social. And it has been and it always will be whatever other social platforms open up, whatever other avenues of engagement open up, whatever other opportunities open up for you to get out there and engage with an audience and engage with other men and women of influence. There will never, never, never, never has been never will be anywhere more engaged, more powerful, more life changing, more enlightening than the clubhouse in heaven.

You’ve been invited in, come boldly before the throne of grace. The Bible says come boldly before the throne of grace. The conversation has been underway for centuries and it continues today. And if there’s any encouragement that I can give you, if there’s any kind of urgency that I can instil in your heart, it is that you would come into that fellowship, just as John said. You know, he’s speaking to his people here and he’s saying that which we have seen that which we’ve heard that which we’ve experienced, the joy that we have engaged with and that we now know we want to invite you to come into this same fellowship.

And this fellowship is with the father and with his son, Jesus Christ. You know, throughout the scriptures, prayer is spoken of as the avenue to fulness avenue to the fullness of joy. Because in this conversation, in this relationship with the Godhead, in this place of intimacy, in this place of engagement with deity. Yeah. You find something that no one else and nothing else can deliver. No one else and nothing else can offer you the level of understanding, the the affirmation, the inspiration that you’ll find in a way.

Where would I say there’s there’s a place, OK, that the scriptures call and Jesus described it as the secret place. When you pray, pray in secret. Come before your father come into the room, come into the house, come into the clubhouse, sit down with Father, Son and Holy Ghost and begin to enter into real open flowing, engaged conversation with them. And as you do that in secret, the scriptures tell us that will be rewarded openly, that that there’ll be something that takes when something takes place on the inside, it affects the outside.

It affects what happens in and around our lives. It affects what happens in our businesses, in our families, in our marriages. This is the greatest investment of time you can make. And as much as some of these other platforms have great value and as much as they open up opportunities for us, OK, as much as they can expand our world and help us to really kind of enter into higher levels of thinking, higher levels of, you know, when when we hear others speak, it’s an opportunity to come into their world and expand our own world.

You know, that’s why God made us social. That’s why God made us to engage with one another and be involved in these conversations. But at the end of the day. It can be very easy to be running around and just having the world chatter all the time. And I guess in my heart. The thing that I long for, the thing that I yearn for, the thing that I desire, the thing that if there’s anything that I want to bring to the world, it is this, that there is a conversation in heaven.

There is a conversation that you have been invited into. And in that place, in that secret place, in that hidden place is the very thing that you’ve been seeking. That is where you will discover yourself. That is where you will discover your call. That is where you’ll discover you’re the, you know, whatever mojos it is you’re looking for, whatever it is you’re seeking, it’s going to be found in that secret place. And when you find it and when you when you leave your heart into it and when you give yourself to it and give yourself to that one primary relationship, your relationship with your maker, with your creator, it changes everything.
