I want to take a few moments today to really encourage you to become a weapon of mass creation, you know, the creative life is not one that resides in a world of ideas, but really lives and breathes in the realm of action. Application is where rubber meets the road and visions become reality. You know, it’s no use to just have ideas rolling around our skull every day without without them finding some vent for expression. Now, despite having already spoken about not running after every single kind of idea that you have, I think that the opposite is often true of a lot of people, is that they act on too few of the ideas that they have and they just kind of constantly have these notions rolling around in their noggin, but don’t actually step out and begin to put feet to the to their faith and see what happens if they actually begin to kind of apply and put some steam behind the ideas that they have.

You know, it’s you know, only only if an idea is put out where other people can see it here. It tasted look at it, whatever it may be, that’s the only place that it will ever find its audience. And it’s the only way that we’ll ever find out if an idea truly resonates with others or not. You know, if we think about it, the earth was formless and void until God actually spoke and put some action to, you know, to what previously did not exist.
00:01:46.710]
And we want as his children, as people who carry that same DNA, OK, we’re created in his image. You know, that void was made to be filled and you are called to fill it. You know, the creative life is one where things that are otherwise formless are like packaged for consumption. An idea really cannot be consumed. It cannot help others. It cannot benefit others if it remains unspoken or and undone. And so and it does take courage to do this.
00:02:26.910]
But if it can be spoken as a song, it can be a painting, it can be a website, it can be a webinar. It could be a live feed. It could be a food review. It could be a movie. You know what matters is that the idea takes form. And the scriptures tell us that we were given arms and legs, OK? That the limbs of our body are weapons in the hand of our creator and that we are to offer them to him.
00:02:57.240]
That one version calls it an instead, that the parts of our body, the members of our body are instruments of righteousness. That word instruments literally means weapons. Yeah. So let your hands become weapons that put words of life on the page. Let your fingers or lips play and sing the sounds of heaven. You know, this life that we live is one as children of God is one of co creation. And he’s speaking today in so many ways and has given us so many opportunities to actually put our creative ideas to work out there in the world.
00:03:44.400]
At one time it was impossible to create a book or publish a book, or certainly very difficult. At one time, it would have been very difficult to create some kind of video or movie or song and have it so other people could consume it and listen to it. The technical aspects of it were so complex. Now we can do it with our laptop. In fact, we can do it with the phone in our hand. It’s it’s really quite, quite an incredible time in which we live.
00:04:18.960]
And so we live in this tremendously privileged time of opportunity and money making value, adding opportunities here in and really and at right before us. You know, that never even existed even just a few years ago. And so, you know, it’s very, very it’s very easy sometimes, I think, to be very heavy on the idea side of things, but light on implementation. And I just want to encourage you to shift the balance tend towards becoming a person who.
00:05:01.330]
Becoming the expression of inspiration, not just the recipient of it, you know, God breathes in, he we co create with him, we breathe out, he inspires and we explore those ideas and express them with our creativity. Really do become that weapon of mass creation. You know, be quick to act on ideas and translate them into something that can be shared with others. Don’t get too hung up on outcomes. Just make stuff. You know, not all ideas are equal.
00:05:39.640]
Some ideas might fly, others might flop. But how will you know if you don’t give them opportunity to receive some feedback? Now, I’m not suggesting that you put hours and hours and hours into every idea that you have. I’m not suggesting that you act on every single idea that pops into your head, but the ones that kind of resonate with you in some way, the ones that seem to be quite persistent, maybe that kind of nagging notion is trying to tell you to actually act and do something with that idea and make something of it, you know, say send them out there, cast your bread on the waters and see what comes back, see what works and what doesn’t.
00:06:29.170]
Refine and refine as necessary, but never stop making the law of probability and demands. Yeah. That if we put out more ideas, some of them will stick, you know, some of them will resonate with others. The creative process will continue and develop and flourish and blossom and grow and expand as we begin to really become confident to express what is in our heart and begin to bake those ideas into things that others can consume. So I just love to encourage you today.
00:07:16.180]
You know, don’t be shy to step out on your ideas, particularly the ones that are persistent in your heart, particularly the ones that kind of drop in and you feel as though there’s a kind of substance there that’s beyond just what you ate last night. Okay. It’s like, oh, man, there’s something here that I feel is has got that. That more honest about it, that there’s something beyond just this idea and put it into action, look for ways to apply your ideas.
00:07:53.810]
So instead of being heavy on the idea and light on implementation, you kind of bring that into more of a balance and you become someone who implements their ideas in tangible ways that can benefit other people. Well, thanks for listening, hopefully. It’s been an encouragement to you today, if you want to connect any further, you can do so through my website at Davidleemartin.com. Have a great day.
