I’ve been pondering a scripture that I’ve been reading. I’ve been reading in the Book of Acts. And to be honest, I haven’t got much, much beyond the first few chapters. There’s so much in there of just the Grace and the life and the vibrancy of the faith that we engage with and the people and the person of Jesus that we are privileged to know. And there’s a verse in there that just has been rumbling around in my spirit.

It’s so packed with just the life of faith. And it got me to thinking I actually was reminded of a photo that I saw of pavement. Okay, like a solid concrete pavement. And then this flower that had broken through from underneath all of that asphalt on top of it, all of that grit and dirt and concrete on top of it. The life in that seedling had been so powerful, so strong, so unyielding, so unwilling to back off that it had broken through the concrete and was growing right in the middle of that pavement or pathway.

And life has a way of bursting through the cracks and making itself known. You know, these eruptions that deny death its place. And it’s right in our life. And just overtly and unashamedly applaud the maker for his daily Grace in this inner force of life shows up sometimes against all the odds, proclaiming something bigger than just the body that we inhabit. God dwells in his people and refuses to stay silent.

Life, that cannot even the universe cannot contain has been infused into your spirit through the baptism of the Holy Ghost. And this verse in the Book of Acts. It’s just found their right. In the early chapters, it says that Jesus showed himself alive with many infallible briefs. Other translations render this magnificent verse unquestionable evidence, convincing demonstrations that proved that death’s beard was ousted by eternity.

You know what unquestionable evidence shows up in your day that declares I’m alive. I’m alive. One of my own lava like eruptions. The words on the page that that pour out, they burst the crust of my day and flow hot across the keys on to my blog and out into the world. And creativity is like that.

Creativity is this inner life on display. We take the invisible things and we make them visible. We take something that previously not exist and bring it into being. Creativity is proof that the Creator is at work in your heart. And regardless of the tomb that the world would like to hide you in whatever rock they would roll to keep you silent and safe.

Yeah, that life within you will not lay down your desire to write, to sing, to serve, to build something to be, someone, to reach out and make a difference. These are the evidences of something bigger at work within you. Your Bible talks about Like a fire burning in our heart. And I tell you that fire sometimes erupts. And when it erupts.

It brings life into existence. Now. There’s been some tragic news recently of volcanic eruption on one of the Islands. But this fire on the inside of us, this creative fire that keeps stirring us and moving us and driving us to produce and to bring something to the table is actually life giving. Whatever it touches is transformed.

And like I say, this desire that you have on the inside to create is an evidence that someone is at work within you. Someone bigger, something bigger than yourself.
